Support the bike shop that supports Tour de Forth.
Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative will be providing the mechanical support on the day. There will be mechanics at the start at Gogarburn and at the water stop at Ineos in Grangemouth.
For all your pre-ride needs including bike servicing, visit one of the Bike Co-op shops in Bruntsfield, Stockbridge, or Canonmills, Edinburgh.
Our bike shop partners Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op won't just be offering free mechanical backup on the day. There will be two chances to win a £50 gift voucher leading up to the Tour de Forth. All you have to do is be signed up to raise funds for CashforKids and your name goes into the prize draw. Easy!
They are also offering you 10% off clothing, accessories, and components from now until the day of the event. Please note that this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
In addition to carrying two spare inners and a pump, we recommend you get your bike serviced in advance of the sportive. Minor problems such as gears slipping or that annoying clicking noise from your derailleur can easily turn into a complete failure on a long ride or when you are stressing the chain and cogs on a hill. For peace of mind, pop into Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative anytime and they'll give your bike a free safety check, and advise you what work might be required to make it sportive-ready.
